RYA Keelboat Sailing
Our RYA Keel Boat Endorsement gives you the option to learn the RYA method on something larger and far more stable than a dinghy.
We offer RYA Level 1, RYA Level 2 and RYA Seamanship Skills. The content is almost the same, as for dinghies although there are a few differences.
We can teach you all you need to know about getting on the water safely, and staying safe.

Course information and content
The Keel boat course is a basic introduction to sailing.
The course includes:
- How to sail in all directions,
- including an awareness of launching and recovering
We aim to spend most of the day on the boat so after a briefing and introduction ashore we get kitted up and onto the water.
This is a really good introduction to Keel boating – no previous knowledge or experience is required, so this is a great course for those who just want an introduction to getting on the water and using the boat.
